This section presents a range of the major methodologies and frameworks currently in popular use across the world. These fulfil different functions, and each may not be suitable for all organizations.

We will be adding to this list regularly, but as listed on the left, our definitions currently include: COBIT, COSO, PRINCE2, ISO 9000, BASEL II, PMBOK, Six Sigma and CMM. ITIL and ISO 17799 are covered in more depth elsewhere on this portal.
