The ISO 27002 Information Security Standard
Granted, the title is made up! It is expected, but not h=guaranteed, that ISO 27002 will one day be the replacement name for ISO 17799, the information security code of practice. Using the full title in anticipation seems to be taking something of a liberty.
Best guess for this rename is some time in 2007, but that is very much a guess. We will of course update this page with any news the moment we have it.

This is a long established (since 1996) portal dedicated to information technology, particularly that related to governance. It is also an archive for information journals and other technical publications and newsletters. We are also hoping to build an archive of out of print standards, but this is subject to permission.
